The UK's biggest Fixed Gear Crit returns with a brand new two day format at the historic Herne Hill Velodrome. Riders will race it out over two days over two different course layouts – one favouring technical skills and the other raw power – to become ThunderCrit Champion 2021.
As always, we are committed to equal billing and prize funds between our Men's and Women's races and we welcome all athletes – whether you're a fixed crit regular or racing for the very first time. The race format will help categorise riders into appropriate skill levels and prizes will be given out across A and B categories for men and women.
In the run up to the event we will be holding Fixed Crit Skills Sessions, as we'll all need to brush up on our race craft after a year of no racing. These free sessions are open to everyone with access to a suitable fixed gear bike (foot retention and drop bars required, no brakes during the session) and will be announced via our Instagram pages @thundercrit and @the_nltcbmbc.
We are proud to be an inclusive club and event organiser, and we're committed to creating a welcoming and fun racing environment for all, regardless of ethnicity, sexuality or gender. If you have any questions or worries that might be making you hesitate about signing up, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be more than happy to help.
